As a Technical Lead for Xively's Professional Services, you'll be working directly with clients to build “Things” for the IoT. If you enjoy working across the entire technology stack including front-end experiences, back-end services, mobile applications and embedded systems, we'd love to hear from you. We like engineers that are passionate about architecture, managing development teams and delivering mind-blowing solutions for clients to help change the world through IoT.

Want to help save the world by decreasing fuel use and increasing efficiency of renewable energy through the data we get from connecting devices? Want to help save your late-night snack routine by having your fridge inventory its contents and automatically renew what you tend to use up? Want to do both of those things on the scale of millions of devices being connected at all times? These are the types of technical challenges you would be faced with as a Technical Lead with Xively.

Xively Professional Services is looking for an experienced software leader to help our clients create innovative “things”. The ideal candidate should be proficient with a variety of programming languages (Node, Python, Ruby, Java, C#, C, C++ are all fine by us), modern web frameworks (React/Redux, Angular, etc.), modern database technologies (PostgreSQL, Cassandra, and Redis to name a few) and cloud computing.

We love developers with embedded experience (RTOS, x86, MIPS, even Arduino) as well, but if you have not had a chance to get your feet wet with hardware, we will teach you how devices function. You should also have experience as a technical leader and mentor for other engineers and developers.

We are working with clients who are at the forefront of building things that will change the world, come join us!
