Your team is filled with inspired designers & researchers. Your job is to help shape the future of the cloud within Customer Engagement & Support line of business. You will be a hands-on leader who champions design culture at LogMeIn. The team is spread between our Boston & Budapest office while you are expected to be in our Budapest office. You would be a great fit if you are passionate about solving user problems, thrive in a collaborative & cross-functional team environment to create simple, intuitive product experiences. Leading by example, you are expected to provide mentorship and direction to the team members.
  • Work closely with the product management, marketing & design team to formulate strategic product direction
  • Create a superior user experience and overseeing the product design process & team
  • Be responsible for every step of the design process
  • Recruit, nurture and retain best-in-class talent
  • Drive / own product experience design decisions from beginning to end
  • Build strong partnerships across disciplines, such as Design, Product, Engineering, and Marketing
  • Be a champion for the UX discipline and a leader in the community across offices
  • Measure, iterate, and deliver delightful experiences.
  • Set team goals and metrics
  • Lead a team of 10 product designers and user researchers
  • 10+ years of experience designing engaging product user experiences
  • 3+ years managing a design team
  • Understanding of the technology, their capabilities, and limitations
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, agile environment, while also leading process improvement efforts
  • Experience running team design exercises
  • Team building, mentoring, and leadership skills is essential
  • Power to influence others and build consensus, while dealing with ambiguity
  • Self-motivated, a good communicator, and able to balance great design with meeting short deadlines
  • Experience using analytics, user research and other approaches to help make decisions and iterate on the product
  • Experience facilitating Design sprints
  • Development of world-class software products with Research and Development Centers in Hungary and HQ in Boston
