(SENIOR) PRODUCT OWNER
ABOUT ROLE
LogMeIn is looking for a highly motivated (Senior) Product Owner to drive the definition and development of GoToMeeting. By combining screen sharing, video, and cloud-based telephony tools, we simplify the way people interact. Our engineering hub in Karlsruhe is one of our main sites where GoToMeeting and OpenVoice are being developed. We are looking for someone with a true agile mindset, someone who may have been a software engineering manager, a software engineer, a project leader, or an actual product owner in her/his current job or in past jobs.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • lead, inspire and support your cross-functional, agile team to deliver customer value
  • communicate the vision, plans, objectives and progress to both your team and stakeholders
  • prioritize and sequence the product backlog to provide the most value
  • understand technology trends to apply to software design
  • assist with internal and external communication, improving transparency
  • drive Scrum ceremonies like planning, reviews, and refinement
  • create user stories and acceptance criteria
  • own and maintain the product backlog and the release plans
  • monitor team velocity and seek to continuously improve product development process
  • manage cross-product dependencies
REQUIREMENTS
  • love to lead a squad (that’s how we call our agile teams)
  • appreciate to balance the different stakeholders
  • set priorities and enable the squad to continuously deliver
  • are good in understanding requirements, especially the tricky and technical ones
  • love to and knows how to write user stories
  • understand acceptance criteria
  • have been working in the software industry – SaaS would be the optimum fit
  • are business minded and have a good technical understanding (or the other way around)
  • love your customers and understand their needs
